Cvrated Unveils Showroom Feb. 14-15, 2026
BRIDGEPORT, CONN. — Are you looking for a strange and unusual way to spend Valentine’s Day weekend? Search no more, as Cvrated by Ryan Matthew Cohn is opening its doors for a darkly romantic two-day debut. Cvrated is a permanent retail space exhibited by Ryan Matthew Cohn, arcane artist and collector of the obscure. Witness the grand reveal February 14-15, noon to 5 pm.
Cohn’s renowned personal collection and “exploded skull” sculptures gained recognition as co-host on the Discovery Channel ’s reality television show Oddities (2010-14). This opportunity led to commissions and art installations featuring objects from Cohn’s own archives. After marrying and joining forces with marketing maven Regina M. Rossi, they founded the Oddities Flea Market (OFM) at the Brooklyn Bazaar in 2017.
Now with multiple events per year, OFM brings curiosities out of the cabinet in five different cities, including San Diego on April 11; Bridgeport, Conn., on June 13; and Los Angeles on October 4. Cohn and Rossi recently co-authored the bestselling The Witch's Door: Oddities and Tales from the Esoteric to the Extreme (2024) and host Atlas Obscura’s online series Antiques and Their Afterlives.
Visitors will have the chance to acquire an artifact from Cohn’s comprehensive collection and shop from other OFM purveyors of rare wares. These include Alex Streeter Jewelry, Feather & Foxglove, Ampersand Curiosities, Rebels and Outlaws, Eyeba NYC, Susan Lloyd Shell Art and more. Refreshments will be provided by Bridgeport’s own Foolproof Brewing Company.
Cvrated by Ryan Matthew Cohn is at 726 Union Avenue, Unit 1. The showroom is open by appointment or by chance on Sundays from noon to 5 pm.
